During the last four weeks we have tried a total of three different clip in hair extensions and in our opinion the Love Hair Extensions 100% Human Clip in Extensions (14 inch) are the best that we have come across so far. While most clip in hair extensions have similar features, ultimately it came down to three factors for us:

Type of hair extension – human hair or synthetic.
Colours available for the hair extension.
Time to fit the hair extension.

Our advice for adding length and volume using this particular clip in hair extensions product is:

2 packs to add high/ lowlights
2-3 packs to build volume
3-5 packs to increase length!

Of the three products we reviewed, colour options played a big part. There is nothing worse than having hair extensions and it being noticeable that you have an extension in because of the difference in colour between your actual hair and the extension. Luckily, colour was not a problem for us with the Love Hair Extensions product.

Attach the Clip in Hair Extensions in Less Than 1 Minute!

Both Glamour and Harpers Bazaar have featured these clip in hair extensions and state how easy and quick they are to attach and use – they get a thumbs up from us as well. They really are simple to attach meaning that you can just ‘clip in and go’. Again, this was an important factor for us. One of the main reasons, we believe, for using a clip in extension is its ease of use when it comes to fitting. What’s the point of purchasing clip in hair extensions and then spending the next two or three hours fitting them? Luckily with Love Hair clip in extensions that’s not a problem – these can be fitted correctly in less than one minute.

Clip in hair extensions – our conclusion

Overall these clip in hair extensions definitely passed our tests with flying colors. We considered the different lengths of clip in hair extensions offered by Love Hair Extensions (18 inch extensions or 20 inch extensions – and a few more) but as an entry level product the 14 inch length is perfect for the money. This product is ideal for someone like me with finer hair, I have read some reviews and people complain that its too thin, but for me this is perfect and looks very natural as it blends with your own hair. Will My Cheap Hair Extensions Last?

As a little added bonus today we have a little post for you about cheap hair extensions…

Have you ever contemplated purchasing clip in hair extensions? If so, you may have noticed that there are a wide variety of affordable hair extensions that are a lot cheaper than some of the others that are out there. It’s natural for you to wonder whether or not your cheap hair extensions will last. In that regard there is some good news to report as well as some bad news.

As with the last clip in hair product we reviewed we would say that you can only wear this product one or two times.

In our honest opinion this is a hair extension that you will probably only wear one or two times at the most, say on a night out. That fact is probably reflected in the cost of this particular clip in hair extension. The hair extension is made completely of synthetic hair, and so because of that we definitely advise you not to use any heat at all to style the extension. Heat and synthetic hair do not mix at all as well as human hair, such as the Hair 100 Clip in Hair Extensions Silky Straight product that we recently reviewed.

For the current cost of the hair product you get two extensions – each measuring 1″ across and 12″ in length. They both come mounted on to a sturdy black weft clip. If all you are looking for is something that will add a splash of colour to your hair then this is definitely for you – but please don’t expect to be able to wear this product over and over again -but at such a low price, does it really matter?
